Rick Todd
Rick, a retired public accountant, has been a Missouri real estate licensee since 1980 and has been involved in numerous real estate transactions as a broker and investor. Rick has recently attained a Kansas Broker licensee designation and actively participates in real estate consulting practice in the Greater Kansas City area.
Rick has participated in a number of commercial/business brokerage transactions throughout the State of Missouri in addition to the same types of transactions within Saline County. Many of these transactions have included 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges involving strategic tax planning consultation with Seller's to minimize capital gains taxes relating to the sale of their real estate investments and business holdings.
In addition to involvement in a number of residential/commercial/business/farm/recreational real estate transactions, Rick has been instrumental in developing a number of Seller financed transactions to minimize capital gains transactions relating to the sale of their real estate holdings, as well as, directing the sale of Seller Financing notes to receive lump sum cash distributions when a need for them arises.
Rick is a graduate of Marshall High School and Missouri Valley College and currently serves on the Central Missouri Board of Directors, Butterfield Youth Service Board of Directors and the 15th Judicial CASA Board of Directors.
Kathy Todd
Kathy has been a Missouri real estate licensee since 1990 and is currently employed as a Special Education teacher within the Sedalia Public School System. Kathy provides administrative assistance in the day-to-day operations of Todd & Associates, LLC .
Kathy, a Sedalia High School graduate, has an undergraduate degree in Cross Categorization in Special Education K through 12 from Central Missouri State University and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Rick and Kathy have 3 children-Geoffrey, a Missouri licensed real estate Broker-Associate with Todd & Associates, LLC; Katie Jo, a full time student attending Missouri Valley College and a Missouri licensed Salesperson with Todd & Associates, LLC; and, Joseph, currently a Senior in Marshall High School and owner of Todd Lawn Care in Marshall.
